Topics to be presented at ET-15 in Prague

ET-15 attendees will be offered updates from both basic and clinical developments in endothelin research, ranging from molecular biology, pharmacology to physiology and pathophysiology of endothelin and endothelin receptors. Most recent results from clinical trials of endothelin receptor antagonists (ERAs) in patients will be presented.

Tentative topics for the conference

Molecular biology of the endothelin system
Endothelin signaling, mechanisms of ET actions
Pharmacology of endothelin-targeting drugs, drug interactions
Physiology and pathophysiology of cardiovascular function
Physiology and pathophysiology of kidney function
Physiology and pathophysiology of endocrinology and metabolism, diabetes and obesity
Pulmonary physiology and pulmonary hypertension (experimental and clinical)
Physiology and pathophysiology of sex differences
Central nervous system, cerebral ischemia, dementia, pain
Immune system and inflammation
Cancer and metastasis
Role of ET in selected diseases (HAPE, sickle cell disease, allergic rhinitis, Raynaud syndrome, preeclampsia)
